GAME 1:  MOODY CONSTRUCTION vs. PICKERING MITSUBISHI

In the first game of the regular season finale Pickering came out fast and furious scoring like the clock was against them.  Everydown was in hurry up formation, catching Moody off guard while they worked the field and racked up the points.  After being stricken by Pickerings fast pace Moody made a change at QB but still couldn't get much going.  The need for Pickerings fast pace was quickly discovered when QB Rob Pacas had to exit the game, allowing Travis Thomas to take over under center to continue dismantling Moody with the help of Matt Rafuse and Chris Fealy.  Moody finishes in the 8th spot while Pickering moves up into a crazy 4-way tie for 2nd.  [FINAL SCORE: MC-0, PM-35].  Game MVP - Travis Thomas.

GAME LEADERS: [MOODY] Mart Einer (1 Sack), Eric Moody (1 Sack).  [PICKERING] Matt Rafuse (2 TD, 1 INT, 1 1-XP), Chris Fealy (2 TD, 1 INT), Josh Hodge (1 TD), Travis Thomas (1 INT, 1 2-XP), Braeden Pacas (1 2-XP).

GAME 2:  DIRECT ELEVATOR vs. HAMPTON REGAL

Game 2 was a nail biter right to the end as both teams were determined to score.  Hampton shot right out of the gate to a 12-0 lead in the 1st quarter, and Direct responded in the 2nd to tie it up.  QB Ryan Stephens (Hampton) was sharp in finding the open receivers and was able to continue drives in some tricky 3rd down situations.  Hamptons defence also stepped up to the challenge forcing 2 interceptions to stifle Directs momentum.  Direct, however, was able to grind out as they usually do to take the lead by 1 point with 4 plays remaining.  Hampton battled back to just over mid-field, setting up an epic 45 yard FG attempt for the win.  Paul Leckey became the hero of season for Hampton, nailing the kick for an amazing finish to their well fought season.  [FINAL SCORE: DE-25. HR-27].  GAME MVP - Paul Leckey.

GAME LEADERS: [DIRECT] Bohdan Gluch (2 TD), Josh Devine (1 TD, 1 1-XP), Jamie Whitter (1 TD), Ben Masson (1 Sack).  [HAMPTON] Paul Leckey (1 TD, 1 FG), Mike Sperling (1 TD), Chris Taylor (1 TD), Matt Risko (1 INT), Kwame Thum (1 INT), Don Schram (1 Sack).

GAME 3: SCUGOG SPORTSWARE vs. DAWKSPORTS

The 12:00 matchup featured another episode of the Bezzant Brother Saga with younger brother QB Mike Bezzant looking to even the score.  Scugog took advantage of an early missed FG attempt by DawkSports, scoring on their return drive to send a message right out of the gate.  The momentum would swing back to DawkSports however as by the 2nd half QB Buzz had full control of the game with his defence working their magic.  The DawkSports offense kicked it into 5th gear and never looked back after shaking off a bad start, putting up 36 unanswered points to finish the season in 1st place with a record of 6-1, 191 points FOR, 105 AGAINST.  Scugog drops to 7th to end the season but is looking to rest and re-tool come Playoff Round 1.  Congratulations to Spring 2017 Regular Season Champs DAWKSPORTS!  [FINAL SCORE: SGS-8, DS-36].  GAME MVP - Josh.0 Devine.

GAME 4:  BRENT'S PLUMBING vs. TRANSMISSION DEPOT

Transmission Depot has been on a tear in the final stretch of the season and the trend continued as QB Andrew Heaney was once again spectacular.  Victor Alisauskas was the receiver of the day for Transmission with a great performance on offense, contributing 14 points for his team.  Brent's Plumbing had success moving the ball but were not as efficient scoring as they were to start the season.  Transmission was also able to take advantage of some player distraction on the Brent's side, keeping their composure and limiting All-Star receiver Brandon Pottle to 6 points.  The end result had Transmission ahead by 4 points in a close and well fought upset win over the no. 2 seed.  Transmission, Brent's, Direct and Pickering are now locked into a 4-way tie for 2nd; see below for a detailed breakdown!.  [FINAL SCORE: BP-16, TMD-20].  GAME MVP - Victor Alisauskas.
