GAME 1: TRANSMISSION DEPOT vs. DAWKSPORTS

On a day with a few suprises in the 9:00 game represented the first as undefeated DawkSports took on 2-3 Transmission Depot.  In this low scoring affair QB Andrew Heaney (Transmission) was on fire once again and managed to move the ball well against a tough DawkSports defence.  Suprisingly DawkSports was not able to get much going on offence or defence (other than an insane catch by Marlon Wong for their only TD), generating just 6 points and a sack for the day.  Further to Dawks concern QB Buzz Bezzant went down late in the game with an apparent leg injury, leaving his status questionable for the Week 7 tilt against Scugog Sportsware.  Nonetheless, Transmission battled out a huge win and now hopes to upset the no.2 seed Brent's Plumbing in their regular season finale.  [FINAL SCORE: TMD-15, DS-6].  GAME MVP - Andrew Heaney.

GAME LEADERS: [TRANSMISSION] Aaron Johnson (1 TD), Ryan Charlton (1 TD), Victor Alisauskas (1 2-XP), Andrew Heaney (1 1-XP).  [DAWKSPORTS] Marlon Wong (1 TD), Erik Burden (1 Sack).

GAME 2: SCUGOG SPORTSWARE vs. BRENT'S PLUMBING

The 10:30 Matchup was another low scoring affair due to the wet/windy conditions, forcing some new players stepping up to make plays for their team.  Nimrod Jenikovszky was the standout performer for Brent's with two touchdowns, all in the absence of top receiver Brandon Pottle.  For the second straight week Scugog struggled to get more than a touchdown offensively, but did a nice job on defence limiting the highest scoring team this season to just 14 points.  After this Week 6 loss Scugog will need to re-focus for Week 7, facing their biggest challenge of the season in DawkSports and hoping to overtake Transmission Depot for the 5th spot in the standings.  Brent's will look to cool off QB Andrew Heaney next week, which would help Scugog in the process.  [FINAL SCORE: SGS-7, BP-14].  GAME MVP - Nimrod Jenikovszky.

GAME LEADERS: plz note the game cards were badly soaked!! [SCUGOG] Shane Ruest (1 TD, 1 INT, 1 1-XP).  [BRENT'S] Nimrod Jenikovszky (2 TD), Miguel Morris (1 2-XP), Will Hodge (1 Sack).

GAME 3:  HAMPTON REGAL vs. PICKERING MITSUBISHI

After last weeks thrilling win over Scugog, the Pickering Mitsubishi squad looked to continue the demise of Hampton Regal, who suffered a 45-0 loss to Transmission Depot in Week 5.  However, in responce to last weeks crushing defeat, team Hampton came out solid in this rainy & muddy matchup, generating a whole team effort which held them neck-and-neck with 4th place Pickering throughout the game.  Pickering had to use all weapons available to them just to stay ahead while Hampton, led by QB Ryan Stephens, nipped at their heels.  WIth the score 22-15 in favor of Pickering with little time remaining, Hampton held composure and marched down the field to score.  Mike Sperling became the hero of the day for Hampton, catching the 2-XP to put them ahead with only plays remaining.  Hampton were able to hold fast and secure the win on the final plays of the game, improving to 2-4 on the season with a big matchup against Direct Elevator in Week 7.  [FINAL SCORE: HR-23, PM-22].  GAME MVP - Mike Sperling.

GAME LEADERS:  [HAMPTON] Mike Sperling (1 TD, 1 1-XP, 2 2-XP), Paul Leckey (1 TD), Matt Risko (1 TD), Kwame Thum (1 INT), Don Schram (1 Sack). [PICKERING] Matt Rafuse (2 TD), Josh Hodge (1 TD), Rob Pacas (1 FG, 1 1-XP).

GAME 4: MOODY CONSTRUCTION vs. DIRECT ELEVATOR

The rain began to taper off for the beginning of this game, leaving the field a wet and muddy wasteland for Moody and Direct to do battle upon.  Moody began with the ball and scored on their opening drive with QB Shad Ross finding Mart Einer for a 12 yard touchdown.  Direct responded with a score of their own, only to have the subsequent fumbled kick & scramble play intercepted by Andrew Pingz and run back for 2, giving Moody a 8-6 lead.  Despite having a shortened bench, Direct wiped off the mud and went right back to work with QB Stu McNeill steadily chipping away at the Moody defence, gaining the lead by the end of the 2nd quarter.  Coming out of half, Direct was able to shut the door completely on Moody's offense, putting up another 2 scores in the process to earn their 4th win of the season.  Direct is now locked in to finish at least 3rd, and can move up to 2nd place with a Week 7 win/Brent's Week 7 loss.  [FINAL SCORE: MC-8, DE-28].  GAME MVP - Dave Thomas.

GAME LEADERS: [MOODY] Mart Einer (1 TD), Andrew Brimpong (1 INT), Sheldon Maxham (1 2-XP).  [DIRECT] Dave Thomas (2 TD, 1 INT), Mike McNeill (1 TD, 1 INT, 1 2-XP), Ben Masson (1 TD, 1 INT), Mike Devine (1 TD), Josh Devine (1 INT, 1 2-XP).
